These collage-based paintings are inspired by personal photos from family albums and influential relationships and art forms enjoyed during youth, including collage, crochet, and scrapbooking. I often incorporate gifted fabrics, fibers, and repurposed canvas from older bodies of work/studies to experience nostalgic joy regardless of the times, emphasizing the necessity of the past into the present and creating space for transformative experiences (play and discovery) within my inner-child healing journey.
