Product Details: Glossy Finish

This piece is my play on elephants that use soil of a redder tint (ie. in Kenya) to offset the harsh heat. Elephants have always had a special place in my heart. These highly intelligent empathetic beings have familial systems and rituals similar to ourselves. It’s really cool! I got the chance to visit the Elephant Nature Park (an elephant sanctuary for rescued/injured elephants due to the logging/tourism industry) in Thailand a few years ago and it was amazing. Next up, the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Northern Kenya! As much as I’m crazy about the arts and community, I’m also crazy about wildlife! Our global consumption doesn’t stop at us. We’re all connected!
